My Ark Dedicated Server Was Online Today but Now Wont Show in List Again

Post by boku on January 21, 2016 13:43:20 GMT -5 Howdy at that place, i hope you guys can help me with my consequence, iam setting upwardly a 50 Player Server on a Dedicated Server in a Data Heart, then since its in a Data Centre all Ports are forwarded. I likewise opened the Ports 7777,7778, 27015 - 25016 in my Firewall. My Trouble at present is that the Server it cocky alowes connections, yous can join and play and you can find it in the Server listing nether My Survivors and if you Favorited the Server you will also see the Server under Favorite. But its non listed in the normal Serverlist nether "unofficial", nore in the Steamserverlist. I put a password on the Server and checked the "testify password" Box in ark, but it wont show up. It as well uses Raw Sockets, but the Server wont testify up in the Steam Serverlist nor in the ingame Serverlist. The Ark servermanager says. Server status: running and Steam Status:Available. I already contacted the support to confirm all ports are forwarded. And i let the server run over night and nothing show upwardly on whatever list abreast the favoritelist i put information technology on.

Do you mind sharing your public IP listed in ASM? There'due south no betoken in hiding it equally steam shows it publicly to the world while your server is running anyways.

Like Kane said...double fifty-fifty triple check your port forwarding. I'd be cautious if they're not using a static IP for your server and using some form of NAT. I say this because it tin can be easy to mess upward the NAT configuration if you don't know what you're doing. Enquire the Data Center staff to provide you with screenshots depicting the ports are open? They'll have a utility (something) they can show yous.

Mail service by boku on Jan 22, 2016 1:31:39 GMT -5 Thanks for all the replays, My Server Ip is :Hidden since solved The Ports are forwarded i called the support to dubble check that.I too runn a Life is Feudal Server on this Machine with no problem so ports are open. And yes you can join the Sever its just not showing upwardly in any list, but to go a server crowded it should be in the list. And even if its non showing up in Ark should it non show in the Steam listing ?

The ports 7777,7778,27015,27016 are all open with UDP & TCP protocols? Are yous running whatsoever mods? Thank you for not thinking we are being rude nosotros are but being thorough, thus is the art of trouble shooting (at least we aren't asking if information technology is plugged in ) When I do a uncomplicated ping 81.169.178.249 information technology is timing out the port checking tools i am finding online aren't showing my server is running either, peradventure they bank check for something that they don't run across IDK edit: I was able to find a more advanced tool ipfingerprints.com. This tool allows for a more advanced scan input ip starting port 7777 ending 7778 click advanced select connect() and don't ping and see what results yous get With this tool information technology is saying 7777 is simply using tcp (might be the problem) and 7778 is closed

Then magically they showed up again. Expect up TheGamingLeague.cyberspace and you should see (3) servers. Mail by boku on January 23, 2016 x:03:27 GMT -5 Hm got a bit further, on the i inverse the querry port to 27016 and now the game Shows in Favorites in the Steam server list and has a regular proper name not only the Ip with port and i found a side where you tin check the ark steam api stuff. api.ark.bar/server/Yourip/27016 i now go the Serverdetails of my server but its nonetheless not showing in the server list of steam nor in arkservers.net. If you wanna bank check if the querry is working correctly on your server you can exchange the IP and Port with yours. If everything is working fine y'all should go the serverdetails. something like this: "{"condition":true,"server":{"name":"Merowinger/PvP/NoGiga/Ratesx3/shorter nights","version":232.5,"map":"TheIsland","time":"Unknown","port":7778,"game":"ARK: Survival Evolved","environment":"Windows","secure":true,"playerCount":0,"playerMax":fifty,"players":[]}}" il keep looking

Mail by boku on Jan 23, 2016 18:17:35 GMT -5 Hurray got information technology working, after i changed the querryport and made shure that the changes were working (past checking via api.ark.bar/server/yourIP/27016 ) i went on Arkservers.internet and didnt saw my server, and so i atempted to claim it and viola the server is now showing upwardly under arkservers.internet. It seems that the steamserverlist is pushed to arkserver.cyberspace and the steam server list isnt complete and every refresh on the steam side y'all Server has a 10% adventure to appear on the steam list, if this happens arkservers.net catches your server and keeps it in his list, if you miss the x% run a risk you wont get on the servlist of arkserver.net automaticly, but if you atempt to claim your server the list asks the querry port directly knows that it is a server and keeps it.
